4905.25 [Repealed Effective 9/13/2010] Petition for service in area not served by telephone company.

Any person, firm, corporation, or municipal corporation in a geographical territory not served by a telephone company may initiate a petition to the public utilities commission for telephone service. Within ten days after such petition is initiated, notice of such petition shall be served by the commission upon any telephone company adjacent or contiguous to such territory to show cause within fifteen days why it should not be ordered to incorporate such territory within its operating area and to furnish adequate service to all applicants in such area.
