1309.528 Corporate and uniform commercial code filing fund - UCC 9-528.

(A) All fees collected by the secretary of state for filings under Title XIII [13] or XVII [17] of the Revised Code shall be deposited into the state treasury to the credit of the corporate and uniform commercial code filing fund, which is hereby created. All moneys credited to the fund, subject to division (B) of this section, shall be used for the purpose of paying for the operations of the office of the secretary of state and for the purpose of paying for expenses relating to the processing of filings under Title XIII [13] or XVII [17] of the Revised Code.

(B) There is hereby created in the state treasury the secretary of state business technology fund. One per cent of the money credited to the corporate and uniform commercial code filing fund created in division (A) of this section shall be transferred to the credit of this fund. All moneys credited to this fund shall be used only for the upkeep, improvement, or replacement of equipment, or for the purpose of training employees in the use of equipment, used to conduct business of the secretary of state’s office under Title XIII [13] or XVII [17] of the Revised Code.
