§ 971.23. Suit for damage by trespassing animals.
In all actions under
section 971.22 of the Revised Code, such assessment, reduced to writing, and subscribed by the persons making it, is prima-facie evidence of the damages sustained by the party aggrieved, but the court before which the cause is tried may set aside the verdict for irregularity or other good cause.
