§ 921.29. State's lien for fines, penalties, costs, damages.
 

Fines, penalties, costs, and damages assessed against a person in consequence of violations of this chapter, as provided in this chapter or any other section of the Revised Code, shall be a lien in favor of the state upon the real and personal property of the person, upon the filing of a judgment or an order of the director of agriculture with the county in which the real and personal property is located. The real and personal property of the person shall be liable to execution for the fines, penalties, costs, and damages by the attorney general, who shall deposit any proceeds from an execution upon the property in the pesticide program fund created in section 921.22 of the Revised Code.

Effect of Amendments

S.B. 217, Acts 2002, effective July 1, 2004, substituted "this chapter" for "sections 921.01 to 921.29 of the Revised Code" twice and "921.22" for "921.151", and inserted "of the Revised Code" following "section".
