[§ 5111.01.4] § 5111.014. Medicaid plan amendment making pregnant individual eligible.
 

(A)  The director of job and family services shall submit to the United States secretary of health and human services an amendment to the state medicaid plan to make an individual who meets all of the following requirements eligible for medicaid: 

(1) The individual is pregnant; 

(2) The individual's family income does not exceed one hundred fifty per cent of the federal poverty guidelines; 

(3) The individual satisfies all relevant requirements established by rules adopted under division (D) of section 5111.01 of the Revised Code. 

(B)  If approved by the United States secretary of health and human services, the director of job and family services shall implement the medicaid plan amendment submitted under division (A) of this section as soon as possible after receipt of notice of the approval, but not sooner than January 1, 2000.
