2006 Ohio Revised Code - 4762.02. Acupuncturist certificate required; exceptions.

§ 4762.02. Acupuncturist certificate required; exceptions.
 

(A)  Except as provided in division (B) of this section, no person shall engage in the practice of acupuncture unless the person holds a valid certificate of registration as an acupuncturist issued by the state medical board under this chapter. 

(B)  Division (A) of this section does not apply to a physician or to a person who performs acupuncture as part of a training program in acupuncture operated by an educational institution that holds an effective certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio board of regents under section 1713.02 of the Revised Code or a school that holds an effective certificate of registration issued by the state board of career colleges and schools under section 3332.05 of the Revised Code.
