[§ 3701.74.2] § 3701.742. Consumer price index adjustment to fees for providing medical records.
 

Not later than January 31, 2006, the amounts specified in division (B) of section 3701.741 [3701.74.1] of the Revised Code and, not later than the first day of January of each year thereafter, any amounts computed by adjustments made under this section, shall be increased or decreased by the average percentage of increase or decrease in the consumer price index for all urban consumers (United States city average, all items), prepared by the United States department of labor, bureau of labor statistics, for the twelve-calendar-month period prior to the immediately preceding first day of January over the immediately preceding twelve-calendar-month period, as reported by the bureau. The director of health shall make this determination and adjust the amounts accordingly. The director shall provide a list of the adjusted amounts to any party upon request and the department of health shall make the list available to the public on its internet web site.

The effective date is set by section 4 of H.B. 331 (150 v  - ). 

 

Effect of Amendments

150 v H 331, effective December 21, 2004, deleted "If the date specified in section 3701.741 of the Revised Code is amended to reflect a date that occurs after December 31, 2004, then" from the beginning, substituted "2006" for "2005", and added "and the department of health shall make the list available to the public on its internet web site" to the end.
