§ 341.11. Confinement of minors.
 

Except as provided in division (C) of section 2151.311 [2151.31.1] of the Revised Code, no child taken into custody shall be held in a county, multicounty, or municipal jail or workhouse or other place for the confinement of adults convicted of crime, under arrest, or charged with crime. 
 

Except as provided in division (C) of section 2151.311 [2151.31.1] of the Revised Code, a child confined pursuant to section 2151.311 [2151.31.1] of the Revised Code shall be held in a room or cell totally separate and removed by sight and sound from all adult prisoners.
