§ 3302.05. Rules freeing district from state mandates.
 

The state board of education shall adopt rules freeing school districts declared to be excellent under division (B)(1) or effective under division (B)(2) of section 3302.03 of the Revised Code from specified state mandates. Any mandates included in the rules shall be only those statutes or rules pertaining to state education requirements.

Effect of Amendments

H.B. 3, Acts 2003, effective August 15, 2003, substituted "state board of education" for "department of education" and "shall adopt" for "shall recommend", and deleted "to the general assembly" preceding "freeing," "recommended" preceding the second instance of "rules", and the last sentence.
