§ 152.26. Construction contracts; contracts with administrator of workers' compensation; cooperation among agencies.

In the exercise of its powers under section 152.19 or 152.31 of the Revised Code, the Ohio building authority shall cause bids to be let and awarded for the construction, furnishing, and equipping of the buildings and facilities and pay the costs and supervise the accomplishment thereof, or the authority may enter into a contract with the administrator of workers' compensation for the construction of one or more buildings on one or more sites in the state. If such a building is constructed by the administrator, it shall be leased to the authority for leasing, operation, and maintenance by the authority or subsequent leasing by the authority to the department of administrative services. Rentals shall be fixed by the authority in such case so that the costs of construction are repaid to the state insurance fund with the same average rate of interest as though state insurance fund moneys were invested in obligations of the authority.

In the process of inviting bids and awarding contracts, the authority shall be guided by the procedures set forth in sections 153.01 to 153.20 of the Revised Code.

The department of administrative services and all agencies of the state government shall cooperate with the authority and the legislative office building committee in supplying any services or information and in relocating offices to carry out this chapter.
