20-184. Patrol under supervision of Department of Public Safety.
The Secretary of Public Safety, under the direction of the Governor, shall have supervision, direction and control of the State Highway Patrol. The Secretary shall establish in the Department of Public Safety a State Highway Patrol Section, prescribe regulations governing the Section, and assign to the Section such duties as the Secretary may deem proper.
