§ 53‑68. Statements showing deposits of State and State officials.
All banks in which any money is on deposit by the State of North Carolina or any of the officials thereof shall, in their published statements as by law required, show the amount of money on deposit in such bank to the credit of the State or of any official thereof; and no officials of the State shall deposit money in any bank which shall refuse to comply with the provisions of this section.
