§ 143B‑164.14.  Admission of pupils from other states.

The Department of Health and Human Services may, on such terms as it deems proper and upon the receipt of tuition and necessary expenses as prescribed by the Department of Health and Human Services, admit as pupils persons of like infirmity from any other state but such power shall not be exercised to the exclusion of any child of this State, and the person so admitted shall not acquire the condition of a resident of the State by virtue of such pupilage.
