Universal Citation: NY Nav L § 32-C (2020)

§ 32-c. Interfering with navigation. A person who throws, or causes, or permits to be thrown, from any boat, scow, or other vessel, or in any other manner, into the tidewaters bordering on or lying within the boundaries of Nassau and Suffolk counties or any of the navigable waters of this state, including bays, sounds and harbors, any earth, ashes, cinders, stone, or other material, or who builds any structure therein, which will in any manner lessen the depth of such waters, or interfere with the free and safe navigation thereof, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
