118-c. Family court cases; state charges. In the event a child who is residing on any Native American reservation within the state is committed or placed by a court of competent jurisdiction as a delinquent, abused, neglected, or abandoned child, or person in need of supervision, or upon any ground specified in section three hundred eighty-four-b of this chapter, the state, shall reimburse the social services district from which the child was committed for the full cost of care and maintenance of the child.
