97-XXX - Additional mass transportation assistance fund.

NY State Fin L § 97-XXX (2016) What's This?

* 97-xxx. Additional mass transportation assistance fund. 1. There is hereby established in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the commissioner of tax and finance a fund to be known as the additional mass transportation assistance fund.

2. Moneys in the additional mass transportation assistance fund shall be used for the payment of operating assistance to the metropolitan transportation authority for the operating expenses of the Long Island rail road company and the Metro-North commuter railroad company which includes the New York state portion of Harlem, Hudson, Port Jervis, Pascack, and the New Haven commuter railroad services regardless of whether the services are provided directly or pursuant to joint service agreements.
