NY Real Prop Tax L § 444 (2016) What's This?
  444.    Historical societies.   Real property owned by a historical
  society acquired for the purpose  of  inclosure,  preservation  and  the
  erection of monuments shall be entitled to the exemption provided in the
  not-for-profit corporation law.
