35.09 - Acquisition of property.

  35.09  Acquisition  of  property.  The acquisition of interests and
  rights in real property for  heritage  area  purposes  of  preservation,
  education,   recreation   or   economic  development  within  any  state
  designated heritage area shall constitute a  public  purpose  for  which
  public funds may be expended or advanced.
