3414. Reports by insurers of certain casualty loss on property owned or operated by religious organizations. (a) Insurers shall report all claims in excess of two hundred fifty dollars filed for casualty losses resulting from desecration, vandalism and theft of religious articles sustained by a "Religious Corporations Law corporation", "incorporated church" or "unincorporated church", as such terms are defined in section two of the religious corporations law, to the division of criminal justice services for a period of twelve months commencing with the effective date of the rules and regulations required to be promulgated pursuant to subsection (b) of this section.

(b) Such division shall promulgate rules and regulations within ninety days of the effective date of this section detailing the contents of such reports which shall require at least the following information:

(1) name and address of the claimant;

(2) nature, substance and approximate dollar value of the claim;

(3) date and specific place in which the claim arose.
