437 - Apprentices.

    §   437.   Apprentices.   1.  Each  applicant  for  a  certificate  of
  registration as an apprentice shall  make  an  application  which  shall
  include  the  physician's  certificate required by paragraph (c) and the
  certificate of completion required by paragraph (e-1) of subdivision one
  of section four hundred thirty-four, two recent photographs,  and  which
  certificate  shall  contain  such  other  information  required  by such
  section and in such form as the secretary of state may prescribe.
    2. A certificate of registration as  an  apprentice  shall  be  for  a
  period of four years.
    3. Each certificate of registration issued as provided in this section
  shall  be  posted  in some conspicuous place in the barber shop in which
  the apprentice is actually engaged in the practice of  barbering  as  an
  apprentice.
    4.  A  certificate of registration expiring in any year, which has not
  been revoked, may, upon payment of the fee prescribed by  this  article,
  be  renewed  for  additional  periods  of  four  years  upon  filing  an
  application therefor and the certificate mentioned in subdivision two on
  condition, however, that no certificate of registration  may  be  issued
  after  one  renewal,  unless  the  applicant  for  such  certificate  of
  registration has complied  with  all  the  provisions  of  this  article
  relating to apprentices.
