176 - Advisory council.

    § 176. Advisory   council.   The   advisory   council   on   charities
  registration is continued. It shall advise the attorney general and make
  recommendations with respect to the operation and administration of this
  article with  the  objective  of  assuring  maximum  simplicity  in  the
  conformance  of  charitable  organizations  with  the provisions of this
  article. The council shall consist of not fewer than five nor more  than
  ten  members.  The  members  of the advisory council now in office shall
  continue to hold office for the remainder of the  terms  to  which  they
  were  appointed and thereafter until their successors are appointed. The
  attorney general shall designate the chairman of  the  council  and  may
  appoint  additional and successor members and fix their terms of office.
  The members shall serve without compensation but shall be allowed  their
  actual  and  necessary  expenses  incurred  in  the performance of their
  duties hereunder.
