154 - Adulteration and sale of boiled linseed oil.

    § 154. Adulteration  and  sale of boiled linseed oil.  No person shall
  manufacture or mix for sale, offer or expose for sale, or sell under the
  name of boiled linseed oil any article unless the oil  from  which  said
  article  is  made  be wholly the product of commercially pure linseed or
  flaxseed and unless the same has been heated to at least two hundred and
  twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit. No person shall  sell  such  adulterated
  boiled  linseed  oil  unless  the  package  containing the same shall be
  plainly marked in legible black letters two inches high and one inch  in
  width  "Adulterated  Boiled  Linseed  Oil,"  or  without  informing  the
  purchaser at the time of sale that the same is not pure  boiled  linseed
  oil, and the invoice shall accordingly read "Adulterated Linseed Oil."
