61 - Solicitor general.

§ 61. Solicitor  general.  There  shall  be in the department of law a
  solicitor general who shall be appointed by the attorney-general and who
  shall perform such duties in the place and stead of the attorney-general
  as may lawfully be assigned to him. The attorney-general shall  fix  his
  compensation within the amounts appropriated therefor.
