2006 New York Code - Powers And Duties Of Policemen.



 
    §  8-802  Powers  and  duties of policemen. The policemen so appointed
  shall have all the powers and be subject to the duties  and  liabilities
  of  constables  of  towns  in  serving  process  in  any civil action or
  proceeding. In addition to other powers conferred by law, said policemen
  shall have power to execute any warrant or process issued by a court  of
  the county or counties in which such village is situated.
