2006 New York Code - Reference To Existing Laws.



 
    § 3003. Reference to existing laws.  The reference by any law, general
  or  special  or  by  any  local law, ordinance, order, rule, regulation,
  administrative code provision or sanitary or health  code  provision  to
  any  section  of  this  chapter  or  of  the  highway  law, penal law or
  insurance law as in force immediately prior to the time this  act  shall
  take  effect,  shall  be  deemed  to  be construed as a reference to the
  corresponding provision  or  provisions  of  such  law,  as  renumbered,
  modified  or  amended  by  this  chapter,  irrespective  of whether such
  provision or provisions is or are contained in  one  or  more  than  one
  title, article, section, subdivision or other part thereof.
