  § 1906. Costs allowed by court.
    The  court  may  in  its  discretion  impose costs not exceeding fifty
  dollars in the following cases;
    (a) Upon granting or denying a motion.
    (b) Upon allowing an amendment of a pleading.
    (c) Upon adjournment of a trial.
