2006 New York Code - Application For Letters; When Court May Direct Probate



 
  § 1210. Application for letters; when court may direct probate
    1.  The  public  administrator  shall  have the power to apply for and
  receive letters as defined in this act.
    2. The court may, pursuant to 1402, direct the public administrator to
  present a petition for the probate of a will at any  time  after  it  is
  filed.
