  § 1202. Office established; appointment of successor
    The  office  of  public  administrator hereby is continued. The public
  administrator shall continue in office  unless  removed  by  the  court.
  Vacancy  in  such  office for any reason shall be filled by the court of
  the  county  by  appointing  a  public  administrator  for  the   county
  immediately.  In  the  counties  of Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk, the
  court may appoint a deputy public administrator who shall act  generally
  for and in place of the public administrator whenever required.
