2006 New York Code - Residential Care Programs Provided By Comprehensive Care Centers.



 
    §  2799-k.  Residential  care  programs provided by comprehensive care
  centers.  Notwithstanding  the  provisions  of  section   four   hundred
  sixty-one-b  of  the  social  services  law,  the commissioner is hereby
  authorized to approve the establishment  and  operation  of  adult  care
  facilities  dedicated  to  the care of persons with eating disorders and
  operating in conjunction  with  comprehensive  care  centers  identified
  pursuant to this article. In approving such facilities, the commissioner
  may  waive  such  provisions  of section four hundred sixty-one-b of the
  social services law, and  the  regulations  of  the  department  related
  thereto,  as  is  necessary  to  facilitate  the  provision  of services
  tailored  to  the  special  needs  of  persons  with  eating  disorders,
  including  but  not limited to provisions concerning age eligibility and
  anticipated duration of care.
