§ 1389-a. Definitions. 1. "Hazardous waste" means hazardous waste as defined in section 27-1301 of the environmental conservation law. 2. "Inactive hazardous waste disposal site" means an inactive hazardous waste disposal site as that term is defined in section 27-1301 of the environmental conservation law. 3. "Inactive hazardous waste disposal site remedial program" means an inactive hazardous waste disposal site remedial program as that term is defined in section 27-1301 of the environmental conservation law. 4. "Person" means an individual, trust, firm, joint venture, joint stock company, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, association, state, municipality, commission, political subdivision of a state, public benefit corporation, or any interstate body. Provided, however for the purposes of this title, a person shall not include a person as defined in section one thousand three hundred eighty-nine-e of this title. 5. "Waste" shall have the same meaning as set forth in section 27-1301 of the environmental conservation law.
