2006 New York Code - Local Laws.
§ 32. Local laws. Except as otherwise provided by law, all legislative action by the council shall be by local law. The style of local law shall be "Be it enacted by the council as follows." Every local law shall embrace only one subject. The title shall briefly refer to the subject-matter.
