2006 New York Code - Right Of Entry.
§ 2905. Right of entry. The commissioner or his agent when authorized by him may in accordance with law enter upon public or private property for the purpose of making surveys, borings or other investigations necessary for the exercise of the powers or the performance of the duties of the department. Refusal to permit such entry shall be triable by the judge of the criminal court of the city of New York and punishable by not more than thirty days' imprisonment or by a fine of not more than fifty dollars or both.
