2006 New York Code - City Register.



 
    §  1525. City register. 1. There shall be within the department a city
  register who shall be appointed by the mayor.
    2.   The functions,  powers  and  duties  formerly  exercised  by  the
  registers  or  registrars  of the several counties shall remain with the
  city register.
