§ 7-627 Alphabetical indices. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general, special or local law, the register may adopt a form of consolidated alphabetical index book for any one or all of the counties of New York, Bronx, Kings and Queens, in which shall be entered the names of the parties to conveyances and mortgages.
