2006 New York Code - Chimneys And Flues.



 
    § 27-4269 Chimneys and flues. If any chimney, stove-pipe or flue shall
  take  fire, the owner of the building or premises to which such chimney,
  stove-pipe, or flue appertains shall forfeit  the  sum  of  one  hundred
  dollars, except where a tenant occupies the entire building or premises,
  the tenant and not the owner of the building shall forfeit such sum.
