    § 27-4012 Compliance with building code. Before a permit is issued, in
  addition  to  compliance  with the provisions of subchapters one through
  twenty-seven of this chapter, all  buildings  and  structures  or  parts
  thereof,  wherein  containers  for  combustibles, chemicals, explosives,
  flammables  or  other  dangerous  substances,  articles,  compounds   or
  mixtures  are  stored  shall  be  occupied or designed to be occupied in
  accordance with a certificate of occupancy or other authorization issued
  by the department of buildings. It shall be the  responsibility  of  the
  applicant   to   furnish   such   certificate   of  occupancy  or  other
  authorization issued by the department of buildings.
