2006 New York Code - Seizure Of Contraband Material.

 
    §  27-4005  Seizure  of  contraband material. Any article or thing the
  manufacture, transportation, storage, keeping, sale or use of  which  is
  prohibited  by  subchapters one through twenty-seven of this chapter, or
  which is manufactured, transported,  stored,  sold,  kept,  or  used  in
  violation  thereof,  is  liable to seizure by the fire commissioner, and
  may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of at his or her discretion.
