2006 New York Code - Inadequate Exits For Existing Structures.



 
    §  27-356  Inadequate  exits  for existing structures. Every structure
  existing on December sixth, nineteen hundred sixty-eight  which  is  not
  provided  with  exit facilities as prescribed in this code, and in which
  the exit facilities are, in the opinion of the commissioner,  inadequate
  for  the  safety  of the occupants, shall be provided with such means of
  egress or fire protection as the commissioner shall direct.
