2006 New York Code - When Equipment Work Permits Required.



 
    §  27-180  When equipment work permits required. Except as provided in
  section 27-184 of this article, equipment work permits shall be required
  for the installation or alteration of the  following  types  of  service
  equipment:
    (a) Air conditioning and ventilating systems.
    (b)  Elevators,  escalators, moving walks, and stairways, dumbwaiters,
  etc.
    (c) Fuel burning and fuel oil storage equipment.
    (d) Refrigerating systems.
    (e) Heating systems.
    (f) Boilers.
    (g) Fire suppression piping systems.
