2006 New York Code - Dealers In Old Clothes; Regulation.



 
    §  20-274  Dealers in old clothes; regulation. a. It shall be unlawful
  for any person to deal in or peddle old  clothes  from  house  to  house
  without a license therefor.
    b. The annual fee for such license shall be five dollars, and shall be
  in  addition  to  the  fee  provided  for  in  section  20-266  of  this
  subchapter, unless  the  licensee  hereunder  shall  have  no  place  of
  business, other than his or her home.
    c.  Each  such  dealer  while  soliciting business shall wear a badge,
  furnished by the commissioner, in such form and  design  as  he  or  she
  shall prescribe.
    d.  It  shall  be  unlawful  for  any  such dealer to purchase or sell
  clothes to any person on the street.
