2006 New York Code - Subway Gradings; Sweeping Into.
§ 19-173 Subway gratings; sweeping into. a. It shall be unlawful for any person to sweep any substance from a sidewalk or other place into a grating used for the purpose of ventilating any subway railroad. b. Any person convicted of a violation of this section shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars, imprisonment for not more than ten days, or both.
