    §  13-504  Teachers'  retirement association; membership of lecturers.
  The retirement board shall adopt rules and regulations  determining  how
  much  service  during each year shall be required of lecturers to become
  or to remain members of the retirement system,  and  how  many  days  or
  hours  of  service shall be the equivalent of a year of service. For the
  purpose of determining average salary of lecturers, annual salary  shall
  be based on the salary earned by a lecturer during the number of days or
  hours  determined by the retirement board to be the equivalent of a year
  of service.
