2006 New York Code - Loss Of Life By Misconduct Of Officers.



 
    § 62. Loss  of  life  by misconduct of officers. Every master or other
  person employed on any public vessel, by whose misconduct, negligence or
  inattention to his duties on such vessel, the  life  of  any  person  is
  destroyed,  and  every  owner or charterer through whose fraud, neglect,
  misconduct or violation of law, the life of  any  person  is  destroyed,
  shall be guilty of a felony.
