2006 New York Code - Number Of Passengers.



 
    § 58. Number of passengers. It shall not be lawful to take on board of
  any public vessel a greater number of passengers than the number allowed
  in  the  certificate  of  inspection  and  for  every  violation of this
  provision, the master, pilot, joint pilot and engineer or owner shall be
  guilty  of  a  misdemeanor  punishable   as   set   forth   in   section
  seventy-three-b of this article.
