2006 New York Code - Formation Of State Association.



 
    § 261. Formation  of state association.  The officers of the organized
  militia may organize themselves into an association.   Such  association
  may  adopt  by-laws  not inconsistent with the statutes of the state and
  regulations issued pursuant to this chapter and may alter and amend  the
  same  and  may  take  and hold such real and personal property as may be
  necessary for the purposes of the association.
