2006 New York Code - Sheriff, Deputy Or Constable Must Act As Crier When Directed By Court.



 
    § 406. Sheriff, deputy or constable must act as crier when directed by
  court.  A  sheriff,  deputy sheriff, or constable, attending a term of a
  court of record, must, when required by the court, act as crier therein;
  and he is not entitled to any additional compensation for that service.
