    § 167. Powers of supreme court justices in the third judicial district
  residing in Albany and Rensselaer counties to appoint confidential court
  attendants.    Each  of  the  justices of the supreme court in the third
  judicial district residing in Albany and Rensselaer counties may appoint
  and at pleasure remove a confidential court attendant, who shall perform
  such duties at chambers and in court  as  such  justices,  respectively,
  shall prescribe.
