2006 New York Code - Power Of Supreme Court Justices In Putnam County To Appoint Law Stenographers And Typists.



 
    §  165-c.  Power of supreme court justices in Putnam county to appoint
  law stenographers and typists.  The justice or justices of  the  supreme
  court  residing in Putnam county, or a majority of them, may appoint and
  at pleasure remove and  prescribe  the  duties  of  a  confidential  law
  stenographer  and  typist, who shall receive such compensation as may be
  fixed by the board of supervisors  of  such  county.  Such  compensation
  shall be a charge against such county and shall be paid by the treasurer
  thereof  in monthly installments upon the certificate of such justice or
  justices, or a majority of them, or, if all such justices have  died  or
  are disabled, of the county judge of such county.
