2006 New York Code - Motor Vehicle Insurance Policies; Disabled Persons; Prohibitions Against Cancelling, Refusing To Issue Or Renew Policies.



 
    §   3434.   Motor   vehicle   insurance  policies;  disabled  persons;
  prohibitions against cancelling, refusing to issue  or  renew  policies.
  Insurers  shall  be  prohibited  from cancelling or refusing to issue or
  renew a motor vehicle insurance policy to any person with a  disability,
  as  defined  in subdivision twenty-one of section two hundred ninety-two
  of the executive law, unless based on sound underwriting  and  actuarial
  principles reasonably related to actual or anticipated loss experience.
