2006 New York Code - Purchasing Property From A Child.



 
    §  63-a.  Purchasing  property  from  a  child.  No  owner,  keeper or
  proprietor of a junk shop, junk cart or other vehicle or boat or  vessel
  used  for  the  collection  of junk, or any person in the employ of such
  owner, keeper, or proprietor, or any collector of junk, shall receive or
  purchase any goods, chattels, wares or merchandise from any child  under
  the  age of sixteen years. It shall be no defense to a prosecution for a
  violation of this section,  that  in  the  transaction  upon  which  the
  prosecution  is  based the child acted as the agent or representative of
  another, or that the defendant dealt with such child  as  the  agent  or
  representative of another.
